Biography:
Dr.Hermanie Pierre was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She moved to the United States at the age of 14. Ambitious and determined, Hermanie earned a full scholarship to Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. She credits her parents for instilling in her the importance of education and her uncle for inspiring her to become an engineer.

In addition to her civil engineering work, Dr.Hermanie Pierre has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD); is a philanthropist; a motivational speaker and a beauty queen!
Interesting facts:
Dr.Hermanie Pierre represented Haiti in the Miss International pageant of 2012 where she was also named Miss Congeniality.
Dr.Hermanie Pierre has volunteered for many organizations and is the president of the National Society of Black Engineers ( AR Alumni Chapter).
Dr.Hermanie Pierre was named one of the Top 20 Most Influential Leaders by Arkansas Business.
